MYFLEX SIGNED THE LARGEST SERVICED OFFICE LEASE IN SOFIA

MYFLEX SIGNED THE LARGEST SERVICED OFFICE LEASE IN SOFIA

A LEADING BANK RENTED OVER 3 000 SQM MANAGED BY MYFLEX IN MEGAPARK BUSINESS CENTRE

MyFlex Coworking & Serviced Offices signed the largest serviced office contract to date in Sofia. One of the leading banking institutions in Bulgaria will use MyFlex serviced office space in the business center Megapark on Tsarigradsko Shose Blvd.

The leased office has an area of over 3,000 sqm and includes about 300 workstations. The reason for signing the contract is the ongoing renovation of the bank’s headquarters and the need for additional spaces for their employees.

“I am delighted that we have been able to design and deliver a solution that meet all of the client’s operational and specific needs within the timescales they have set. We are talking about a corporate tenant with high requirements, which is looking for the best way to provide amenities and suitable working environment for their employees,” said Krasimir Petrov, Property and Asset Management Manager at Cushman & Wakefield Forton.

THE CO-WORKING AND SERVICED OFFICE BRAND MANAGED BY CUSHMAN & WAKEFIELD FORTON WILL GROW IN NEW LOCATIONS

MyFlex is operated and developed by Cushman & Wakefield Forton as the company aims to grow in the serviced office niche and provide flexible and diverse office solutions for its clients. Under the company’s management, MyFlex has already absorbed over 5,500 sqm in Megapark within a year.

“Our ambition is not only to impose the brand, but also to grow it with new areas and locations in Sofia and the country. We are closely following the growing business need for flexible office solutions and believe that it will continue to increase in the long term,” said Yavor Kostov, Managing Partner at Cushman & Wakefield Forton.

As the market for flexible office solutions matures, Cushman & Wakefield Forton consultants are seeing growing interest from new types of clients. In addition to the small start-ups or companies traditionally associated with this segment, flex offices get attention of large corporate clients, as well. This is not a local phenomenon, but a global trend. Most often, these clients are looking for a dedicated office space with specific set of services.

“In addition to flexible lease terms, these clients are mostly looking for a furnished and serviced office, where the operator provides them with a comprehensive package of services that are necessary for normal workflow. This way they do not have to dedicate internal resources to these activities. As well as employees are attracted by the diverse social environment in the common areas and co-working spaces,” summarized Krasimir Petrov.

In his observations, co-working spaces and serviced offices are becoming increasingly important element of the mix of large office buildings. However, the most important requirement for flexible office spaces is they to be vital and to provide a complete environment and amenities, not just a furnished workspace.
