Reserved to open its largest Bulgarian store in CITY CENTER SOFIA

•    THE FASHION BRAND WILL ANCHOR THE SHOPPING CENTER WITH A STORE OF APPROXIMATELY 2300 SQM
•    FORTON/ CUSHMAN&WAKEFIELD CONSULTED THE LEASE AGREEMENT

European fashion brand Reserved is to open its largest Bulgarian store in City Center Sofia in late summer. The lease contract was signed in February and was consulted by Forton/ Cushman&Wakefield as exclusive leasing agent of the shopping center.
The store comprises approximately 2,300 sqm of leasable area, situated on two levels. With this step, LPP Group, brand owner of Reserved, joins the anchor tenants in City Center Sofia and becomes the largest fashion retailer in the shopping center. “The entering of Reserved in City Center Sofia is a sign of the increasing confidence in the shopping center. The project has significant potential not only due to its excellent location but also thanks to the investments in its renovation, the new tenant mix concept and the natural footfall it has”, comments Rosen Genev, Head of “Retail space services” in Forton/ Cushman&Wakefield.

The opening of Reserved is scheduled for mid-August. It will offer the largest range of women's, men's and kid's clothing. The layout design embodies the latest Reserved store concept. Following the acquisition by Revetas Capital, City Center Sofia has been in the process of restructuring, aimed at optimizing layouts and improving performance. The retail center is on its way to full repositioning as convenient location for every day shopping, business meetings and free time. The tenant mix is oriented towards middle- and high-end fashion, shoe and sport brands, targeting the customers living and working in the affluent areas nearby. In addition to that, it includes a bar, cafeterias and a restaurant with terrace, having a lovely view towards the park, for business meetings and leisure.

To this day, whilst implementing the strategy, Forton/ Cushman&Wakefield advised the signing of lease agreements of about 5,000 sqm in the shopping center. Together with Reserved, Sport Depot, CCC and the kid’s center Capella Play are among the new tenants in City Center Sofia.
The renovation of the common areas in CCS – parking, hallways, flooring, ceilings, toilets, lifts, food court etc. is almost finalized, creating a bright and cozy atmosphere for the visitors. The escalators were relocated as well with the aim to optimize the footfall circulation. The re-branding of City Center Sofia under the new concept with the name Park Center is scheduled for Autumn 2016.

Established in 1999, Reserved is the first own proprietary brand of LPP Group. The group has been presented on the fashion retail market for more than 20 years. Nowadays, LPP operates more than 1600 stores in 18 countries including nearly 500 Reserved stores.

City Center Sofia was the first modern shopping center in Bulgaria opened in 2006. Its anchors include a Piccadilly supermarket, a Technomarket electronics store and a Cine Grand cinema. It has a prime location within minutes’ walk from the National Palace of Culture and the Hilton Sofia hotel, neighboring the central business district of Sofia and the upscale Lozenets area.
